Business Dialogue

As a dynamic space for field-academia dialogue, our School of Management, through its different research institutions and Alumni Association, provides executives and professionals from different fields and sectors with opportunities to network, keep up to date with current advancements in their fields and discuss ongoing issues of concern. Our student & alumni community benefits from a variety of professional conferences and forums, in which they are encouraged to take part.

Coffee @ Recanati This is one of the first flagship programs of our Alumni Association - a series of meetings and lectures by keynote speakers in various fields, many of whom are senior professionals from the business, technological, and political arenas.

The Strategic Move The Strategic Move, an annual event held by Recanati's Hurvitz Institute for Strategic Management, brings together Israel's managerial elite to discuss current developments and challenges in corporate strategy. Each conference brings to the fore a specific strategic dilemma or topic of concern, considered from the perspective of two or three Israeli leading corporations.

These corporations' strategic steps and campaigns, presented by their CEOs, serve as case studies for available approaches and solutions to corporate dilemmas and challenges. An expert panel, consisting of scholars, executives and strategy specialists, then puts the dilemmas discussed into perspective, discussing future directions in the local and global macroeconomic environment and pointing out their implications for corporate strategy.

Launching the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange The beginning of the School's academic year is traditionally noted at an event held at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), attended by Recanati faculty and students. At the heart of the ceremony, Recanati leadership and TASE management jointly open daily commerce at TASE by pressing the ceremonial bell coordinating TASE activities. Recanati Scholars and senior TASE professionals discuss ongoing trends and phenomena in the finance market, presenting their assessments and predictions.

The event frames business education in the context of the commerce and market activities for which it prepares students, signaling the importance of synchronism between both systems to the students' professional growth.

What's Next  What's Next, the annual event of the School's Sofaer International MBA Program, is a forum designed for a discussion of future directions of development in today's business world, focusing on a specific business-related field.
